I am sure that the management of my local coffee bar do want my continued custom, it’s just they don’t want me working on my laptop (at least between 11am and 3pm).

I think I need to get them to implement the same policy as Naidre’s in Brooklyn (see below), where it’s ok to use your laptop as long as you are eating/drinking at the same time. I suppose cleaning out bits of carrot cake from my keyboard wouldn’t be that much of a sacrifice.
